Share to Artwall
Signing in, the Share dialog, and exactly what Celas Studio uploads to Artwall and at what size.
Signing in
Open the Account dialog from the Account button on the toolbar, Help ▸ Account, or the account pill on the Home window. If you are signed out this opens Sign in to Celas instead: enter your Email and Password and choose Sign In. The desktop app is sign-in only: a new account is created on the website, through the Create account link, which opens celas.studio/register.
Once you are signed in, Celas Studio keeps you signed in between sessions, including while offline.
Opening Share
File ▸ Share, or the Share button on the toolbar, opens Share to Artwall if you are signed in, or the sign-in dialog first if you are not.
The Share dialog
Fill in a Title, choose a Type (Illustration, Animated Image or Video) and add Tags. Tags are chips: type one and it becomes a chip you can remove on its own, and pasting a comma-separated list splits it into chips rather than leaving one long string. Description (optional) is a real multi-line box that wraps. Animated Image adds a second choice between WebP and GIF. A live preview plays the frame range you would export; while the upload runs, the same player follows the frame being encoded and doubles as a progress readout.
Size decides how tall the upload is, and the list is built from your canvas: every standard height smaller than the project offers itself, plus Original, the project's own dimensions, with the pixels each one works out to shown beside it. A 1080-tall project offers 480p, 720p and Original; a 4K one offers 1080p and 1440p as well. Visibility decides whether the piece is Published straight to the wall or uploaded as a Draft, which lands on Artwall as yours alone so you can open the real page and look at it before anyone else can. A Pixel Mode switch sits here as it does in every export window, on by default for a project that is in Pixel Mode.
Choose Share to start the upload; the button reads Working… while it runs. Give it a title first if the field is empty. On success, the finished post opens in your browser; on failure the dialog tells you to try again.
What gets uploaded
Quality is not something you set here. Celas Studio encodes the file for you at the Size you picked, always with even-numbered dimensions:
| Type | File | Size of the file |
|---|---|---|
| Illustration | A PNG of the current frame | Long edge 2400 px; Size does not apply |
| Animated Image | An animated WebP or GIF, at the project's frame rate | The height you chose, up to 4320 px |
| Video | An MP4, plus a PNG poster frame for the gallery | The height you chose, up to 4320 px; the poster is capped at 1280 px |
Your account
The Account dialog shows your avatar, display name and @handle, with a verification seal once your email is confirmed, plus Followers, Following, Likes, Works and Views, and a Notifications list. An unverified account shows a reminder that you need to verify your email before you can publish to Artwall. View profile opens your page on celas.studio; the icon in the top-right corner signs you out.
